Add an "Assigned Via" column to the "Installs" tab for apps, preferably a sortable one, that shows either "Device" or the name of the Device Group which the device belongs to that is assigned an app. The column would be similar to the "Assigned Via" column on the profiles tab of a device. This would make it so that if you need to uninstall an app from a specific Device Group of devices, but not all of your devices, you can quickly see which devices are assigned an app because of a specific Device Group membership and you could select them all and uninstall the app from them only.
