mdm eventlog
Add a detailed EventLog in the MDM.
It would be nice to know if commands/messages were successfully sent to a device.
Logging is now available in SimpleMDM under Account > Logs.

I would like to see event logs on the Server/User side for MacOS.

For example, if I push an app update it would show that the command was sent but not completed yet. Or renaming the device failed and that I should retry... That way I can wait to put it back in single app mode until it's done.

With multiple hands on the system, it would be helpful to have a way to see what actions have been taken on a device (log of events) … and it would be awesome to have some return report regarding success or not (when possible.)

Our old MDM (rhymes with beer-a-dore) had a nice feature of showing which actions were run on which device and if they reported back as successful (event log). That is the one feature that SimpleMDM is missing for our use.

The log should include commands sent through the UI as well as through API.

Would love to see some sort of logging feature as well.
We recently encountered an intermittent issue where Managed App Config data was seemingly not being pushed to a random subset of our device fleet, and it would have been really helpful to be able to search the logs for, e.g. a successful or failed managed app config payload sync event per device.

I think this would be great. In addition, I think it would be nice if SimpleMDM had the ability to deploy an MDM debug profile built-in in some simple way for use when troubleshooting.
Even with low retention time this can be very useful.

Yes, add this function please. I need to see what things are changed over MDM.

Logging for MDM, Push and App deployment status. Extra credit if I can search the log or export the log in the UI

Show a list of queued events (updates, etc.) for each device. Ideally you'd be able to clear the queue for each device.
For example, say you've decided to push updates to a device and those are queued up. Then you find out that the update would cause problems and you want to ensure that if the update hasn't already been pushed, don't do it again.
