Not load agent in menu bar on macOS
The cloud agent icon in the menu bar is great for people that need it but it would be great if we had the ability to have that not load in the menu bar as we already have other things such as Nomad or SSO extensions payload that can be configured to have an option to open the Managed Software Centre.

Been thinking on this, what does the SimpleMDM menu icon even do? Having run a munki server previously, the ManagedInstalls.plist handles everything for the Managed Software Centre. So, what purpose does the menu icon even serve?

Absolutely any of our users who are interested enough to know that there is an agent installed will have already seen the copious profiles listed in System Preferences > Profiles. And, as the other commenter noted, almost all of our deployments will be touch-less through DEP, to which they'll clearly see the enrollment message. I don't think this icon serves transparency any better than the multitude of other indications the user will encounter.

We're on the verge of subscribing to your service, but this extra icon in the menu bar is a sticking point for us. I will say that the SimpleMDM icon is very attractive, but we do also run NoMAD (with our own attractive icon). Our deployments will almost never use a self-service option, so this icon will do nothing more for us than serve to know that the device has been enrolled.

True, but I think the MDM profile itself covers that better explaining what management can do. For 95% our customers they're all corporate DEP enrolled Macs anyway.

But in terms of transparency - at least it lets your end users know there _is_ a SimpleMDM agent installed...
