Approved Web site limiting
In our corporate environment, we need to limit Safari to only load our internal company intranet sites. How can we use Device Link to limit web access to a few key company URLS?
thanks.

We now support this feature for Supervised devices. The feature name in DeviceLink is called a “Web Content Filter”. You will want to create a whitelist of all of the specific internal URLs you plan to access and then assign this web content filter to a group of devices. Assignments are made in the Group Details screen underneath the “Supervised Features” tab.
Alternatively, you could also configure your devices to use a Global HTTP Proxy, assuming that you have a proxy at your site that you’d like to delegate this responsibility to. Global HTTP Proxies are configured similarly to Web Content Filters.

Update #2: We needed to control access to our local intranet websites. The app mentioned below would not work in this instance, as the author cannot proxy back into our internal webservers. The app below only works for external public websites.
Our solution was to install a proxy server, and have the iPads connect thru that, giving us total web traffic control, not just on Safari, but all IP traffic. This is awesome because it also kills the ads, popups and other unneeded traffic.I look forward to trying your new feature as an alternative.
Thanks for the great product. It seems to do everything I need except limit access to the Settings control panel app. -
