Groups can now be cloned under the group details screen. Click the “Actions” button and then the “Clone” option.
Please open a new feature request for cloning profiles so that it may be tracked separately.

To further add to this, I think the ability to clone configuration profiles would also be very useful, as many of the restrictions have a lot of different options.

^ This - it would be great to be able to create a copy of your existing setup - but then be able to experiment with/change one thing. Or is this the kind of thing I should be using the API for?

Would really like to have the ability to duplicate a group. Sometimes you want something exactly the same with one small variation.
