Quick Look App Version Installation
Have a section on the portal which shows each app and version and how many devices are on each.
This would be useful to see how many devices have downloaded the new version of an app.

I would like to request SMTP support, with authentication.
I would like to request SMTP support, with authentication. It would be nice to get emailed when critical events happen within SimpleMDM’s management interface. Examples, when a certificate is about to expire, or when a device is quarantined.

Slack integration
I would really like Slack intergration
I.e a notification when there is a change like a new machine enrolls or something more advanced like a notification when a new machine enroll have an interative button (https://api.slack.com/docs/message-buttons), to confirm that the machine is allowed to enroll and move it to the right group.4 votes -
Add Documents
Apple Configurator 2 when adding documents it picks up what apps are installed and you are able to add documents to that particular app.
In my case, we are using Filemaker Go and we have manuals to go into the app. Having the ability to upload manuals straight to said app via the MDM would be AMAZING!!

Jailbreak detection.
While everything I've read about this says it's not perfect, something would be better than nothing. Thanks.

Add API endpoints for viewing notes and updating Device information
Currently when you call for a Device via API, it's missing the 'Notes' attribute. It would be helpful to be able to access that.
In addition, an
update
endpoint for Devices would be incredibly helpful so you could change the name/notes on a device.9 votes -

Disable iOS power button
Allow the iPhone power button to be disabled so that the device can't be powered down if lost or stolen.
I'm aware that for now, this functionality is only available in jailbroken devices running Cydia tweaks, but it would be an awesome enhancement to have in the future.7 votes -
Make the IMAP Path Prefix option available
When creating accounts on devices for IMAP Mail servers, we need to set the IMAP Path Prefix so the folders behave properly.
With SimpleMDM we currently can't set that, but we can with .mobileconfig Plist files.

Creating Subgroups
Within my school structure I have groups created by grade. I would like to be able to create subgroups for foreign language, honors vs standard, etc. so that i can push paid apps to only a small segment of a group, and to be able to put devices into multiple subgroups.

Keep or be able to set the default sort in Devices
I find that I'm constantly sorting the Devices list by Device name by clicking that column. It doesn't save this sort after clicking into a device and then going back. It would be nice to either have this save (even if just temporarily) or be able to set the default sort.

User based app distribution via VPP without device enrolment.
Currently Simple MDM allows for user based app distribution when they have a device enrolled into the MDM, however, there are circumstances where an entity may not wish to manage an end users device, such as a BYOD program in a K-12 institute.
In these circumstances, it would be great to have a mechanism by which one could import users and their email, or use an API call, to send out invites to participate in receiving Apple ID based managed distribution apps via VPP.
For example, we would import users from a CSV (Name,Email); or use an API call with…
