Force a device to reenroll using DEP
Sometimes a device may be set up before it has been properly configured with the Device Enrollment Program. Because of this, it will not have the initial configuration as defined by DEP.
To reset the device so that it applies your DEP settings, follow these steps:
- On the device, go to Settings > General > Reset
- Select "Erase All Content and Settings"
- Once the device restarts, complete the initial setup screens. The device will enroll with DEP.
