    Plus, you could easily use one of several config profile tools (ProfileCreator or iMazing Profile Editor) and just import it in as a Custom profile.

    I know it's an officially supported Apple profile, but I personally struggle to find an effective use case that isn't better handled by other open source tools, like dockutil & outset, for configuring and updating the Dock. My 2 cents, if you're trying to keep a standard dock, use outset to run a script on every user login that triggers dockutil to (re)set your desired config.
