Automatically Sync with Apple DEP
Please add an option to allow "Sync with Apple" to happen without admin interaction. Ideally this would sync daily with Apple's deploy.apple.com service. In our environment we purchase from an authorized reseller so they automatically assign the serial numbers to our account and we would ideally like this to sync with SimpleMDM without admin interaction.
3 votesDEP accounts are now automatically synced every three hours.

Persistent settings (group) on re-enroll of device
We'd love to see devices automatically re-assign previous settings when the device is re-enrolled. Currently, if a device is in SimpleMDM and gets erased/wiped locally, the device will re-enroll and be placed in the "Default" group, most settings are lost (Except Device Name).
It would be useful if a device that gets re-enrolled would automatically appear in the group it was previously in rather than the default group.
3 votesThis is now the default behavior if "Force device group assignment" is unchecked on the enrollment being used to re-enroll the device.

Setup a role option to only have access to view/rotate FV PRK
We have techs that need to access the FV PRK for troubleshooting purposes and also rotate the key if they view/use it. The current Role options are too broad and give access to other features that the techs shouldn't have access to.
I'd like to see a user Role option to allow only the rotation of a FV PRK and not the the rest of
Push assigned apps and updates. Wipe, lock, remove passcode, locate, and message devices. Enable and disable lost mode for devices.
Checking the box for that Role option gives me the rotation option but I don't…3 votesThis is now possible with the "Allow secret information visibility" options for User Roles.

It would be great to define a Google account on a device group level.

This was added a while back but the post wasn't updated. The "For macOS devices, deploy as a device profile instead of a user profile." option now exists in the Passcode Policy profile settings to control whether it is deployed via device or user channel.

Search devices by MAC Address
Currently the only way to search for a device in your MDM is by device name, serial or phone number. Adding the ability to search by MAC Address of the device helps advanced organizations search more thoroughly if a search inquiry doesn't contain the MDM's current search parameters.

Allow filtering based on MAC address in the Devices API
Currently only name, UDID, serial number and phone number are supported for filtering in the Devices API. In the context of a network, the MAC address is the only identifier available and is required for filtering.

Low licence warning
We're using pre-paid licences (rather than pay as you go with a credit card) and have hit the hard limit of seats a couple of times. Which breaks new enrolments in unpleasant ways.
Could some kind of mechanism to auto-alert admins (or a web hook? Or and API we can call?) be added when the free seats drop below a user defined threshold so we can start the process of ordering more licences?
3 votesThe billing page now includes an option to be notified when available licenses is low. This option is available for accounts that have purchased licenses via manual invoicing.

Update the SimpleMDM Name via the API
As per your document https://docs.simplemdm.com/article/60-device-name-vs-simplemdm-name-whats-the-difference, there are two names within the console for a macOS device.
Our DEP workflow will soon be able to update the 'Device Name' using the API (https://simplemdm.com/docs/api/#update43) but it isn't currently possible to update the 'SimpleMDM Name' in the same way.
Could the API be updated to either a)allow changing of the 'SimpleMDM Name' explicitly using its own call and/or b) allow the 'Device Name' call to also update the 'SimpleMDM Name' using a boolean flag to do so.

Use a different font to display firmware / recovery key
When attempting to view the recovery key or firmware key using the font on the simplemdm website on Google Chrome / Safari on macOS capital I and lower case l are impossible to tell apart. I have to copy the key into an application with a different font to see the true key.

Change the way to edit table contents
Change all tables to the type of device table. This would be nice if you want to change or delete content. Example: In the profile table I am always afraid to delete a wrong line.

Lost Mode GPS Coordinates
When Lost Mode is activated, it would be helpful to get the precise coordinates without needing to go through the API.

API add ability to push updated app to all installs
The API currently allows for updating an existing binary: https://simplemdm.com/docs/api/#update-2 But this does NOT push out the update to all installs like it gives you the option of doing on the Web UI.
Please add a boolean flag (maybe "push"?) or something similar to the the app update endpoint so that I can update the app binary and push it out all in one command.
We are currently working to automate our app deployment process with a CI solution and not being able to push the app forces us to open SimpleMDM on the web and push out the update…

Implement the language and region keys for Setup Assistant auto advance.
tvOS has the ability to Auto Advance through Setup Assistant. There are two keys that facilitate setting the correct language and region for these devices that are available in the device assignment profile that are not implemented in SimpleMDM.
Some discussions with another Mac admin suggest that these two keys also work with the recently implemented Auto Advance for Setup Assistant in macOS 11.
Implementation would be very helpful!

macOS 11+ - Please add support to skip the Accessibility setup pane when users log in
macOS 11+ has a new setup pane (Accessibility) when a user first logs in that isn't being skipped presently.
Could this please be added as an option to skip in the DEP Enrolment setup?
Thanks :)
