Checking the "Select All" checkbox should apply to ALL enrolled devices (not just the first 100)
Meaning if I want to push an Apple VPP update to all enrolled devices, clicking the "Select All" checkbox only applies to the first 100 (as the ceiling).
We currently only have 105x macOS devices enrolled, but are in the process of bringing over 850x others from VMWare Workspace ONE in a way that's "zero touch" for the user.
You can imagine us having to click the "Select All" checkbox on each 9x pages containing 100x devices/each would be inefficient.Screenshot is from my work Gmail and is just an example of what I would see implemented.

Ability to sort Apple VPP app by the version installed on device
So I'm not clicking the Select All checkbox --> clicking Actions - Install Update for users who are already on the latest version (example in screenshot being v2.0.25 as the latest for that app)

Create a Vanta integration
Vanta is an automated compliance tool. If SimpleMDM created an integration, it would be much easier for us to deploy across various products as part of a comprehensive compliance package.

Support API key expiration
API keys currently never expire. A key can be regenerated to effectively expire it, but there's no way to do so by time. I'm specifically asking...
- Add support for API keys to expire after 30, 60, 90 days, by timestamp, or never.
- Optional. Let the API regenerate or expire keys. Ends up being a one key rules them all situation. Up to debate whether this is a secure approach.

Allow Configurable Log Retention
I would like to be able to customize the log retention filter and length. Not all device logs are needed for longer than 30 days, however important access logs and commands such as locking devices should be able to be kept for much longer.
Alternatively or in addition, having a built in log pipeline to a SIEM would be great. Pulling logs out of the API is a bit of a hassle.1 vote -
Add Request Management to the App Installs Page under Actions button
If you need to request management for an app that has been user installed on devices you currently have to manually go to every single device individually and request management for the app in order to delete/update etc.
I am requesting to add a request management button under the "Actions" button on the App Installs page for the specific app you select. This way you can "Select All" on that page for all devices that have the app installed and directly request management of that app all at once. This would save a HUGE amount of time for large deployments…

Add a Log tab to the device detail view
When viewing the Device Details, having a Log tab to have just the log entires for that device readily available would be great. Currently I have to copy the SN, click on the Logs view, paste the serial number and then if I want more device details I have to go back to the device detail.
Having a log view of just that devices activity in the device detail would keep all the device details in one location.

SimpleMDM Training and Certification
Why do I ask/suggest?
- It can be great to meet MDM certification requirements from the Apple Consultants Network (for members).
- Learn SimpleMDM from the perspective of the creators. Like best practises, how/why things were created the way they are.
- Impress whoever is impressed by this kind of stuff. Maybe you'll get a raise. And off course get a nice badge for your website or social media! (just kidding)

SecureFrame Integration for Compliance
It would be rad to have a SecureFrame integration so that we would not need to manage sketchy spreadsheets for audits and compliance.

Add Webhook trigger based off device change
When new devices are enrolled, they have a random name set. We currently populate a drop down list of device names in our ticketing system but we cannot effectively add net new entries to this list because the device name at enrollment is not the name we want. It would be great if we could trigger a webhook to fire whenever a device's name is changed so we can update our list.

Add Enrollment Date to Devices list page
It would be super helpful when applying sorting to be able to sort by Enrollment Date - right now, only the Status and Last Seen are available. Can you please add Enrollment Date to the list of available columns?

Dynamic Attribute Groups
Create dynamic group (Application and/or Device groups) scheme based on device attribute (model, apps installed, OS version, Public IP, last reboot or custom script result) See screenshot for attributes examples.

Add file server to Mac Finder
The option to add a file server in the "Add Provider" menu. The setting should appear in the Finder "Connect to Server..." menu/option.
Examples:
smb://10.2.3.4
afp://10.9.8.7
ftps://server.example.com(But I'm not sure if this can be managed by MDM)

Mapping Scripts to Group(s)
What we are concretely looking for is the possibility of mapping one or more individual Scripts to a Group, so when the enrollment process is running, it also executes the script(s) at the end. For example, a custom script that enables SSH on the Mac device.

Specify package install order on joining an app assignment group
I can see that this request has been marked completed:
and I've tested the package order stuff in our environment - and it works really well... but ONLY for pre-stage setups. And they don't always work.
So - if an end user needs to manually enrol a device either via an enrolment link or a
sudo profiles -Ncommand to re-trigger an automated enrolment then all that awesome install logic disappears, and the packages get installed in what seems to be a random order. As Eric says in that feature request:"Some vendors supply their products as multiple packages…

pause kiosk mode
Pause Kiosk mode when needed for quick fixes then "resume kiosk mode" option to turn back on once problem solved that required Kiosk mode to be disabled. Timed resumption if no inputs made would be great, Example from ManageEngine MDM attached, very useful.

Report on systems using munki that are having problems connecting with MSC.
Recently had an issue were my Managed Software Center was giving me a communication error. I was able to resolve this with support (tkt 373463). Now I'm wondering if any other systems in my fleet are having the same problem.
It would be helpful if the SimpleMDM agent could report these issues back to the web console so the issue can be resolved.

Self-service VPP Apps
Some of the apps we distribute from VPP do not need to be installed on all Macs, but should be available for a user to install on demand.
Welding together Managed Software Center and VPP could be tricky, but maybe there could be application stubs in MSC that trigger API calls to SimpleMDM to install a VPP app on the device.
