Root CA Certificate Support
Support for Certificates payload. Since we use some internal root CAs, we would like to be able to push those root certs to the device so that our SSL sessions are validated when mobile devices content to https signed with certs issued from that root. This will allow us to continue to use the "disallow untrusted TLS connections".

Provide support for Managed App Configurations
Provide the ability to use Apple's iOS 7 "Managed App Configuration" feature to bootstrap an app with initial configuration values.
Even better would be the ability to have variable support (string substitution) such that values such as the user's name, email address, and other device attributes could be dynamically in the delivered managed app config payload.
30 votesSupport has been added for managed app configurations. To add a configuration for a particular app, click on the app from the catalog view and select the “Managed Configuration” tab.
We plan to add additional functionality in the future. If you have additional requirements, please open a new request on our feature request board at simplemdm.uservoice.com.

Add International Support for DeviceLink App
The DeviceLink App that enables GPS tracking and push messaging currently only works with devices that are registered to a US iTunes account. This request is to add support for other countries.
If you vote for this idea, please include the country (or countries) that you'd like to see support for, personally. Thanks!
10 votesThe DeviceLink App is now available in the public Apple App Store and is available for all countries.

push trusted certificates
If possible, I would like to be able to push internally signed root certificates to devices so they trust intranet services that are encrypted through those internal certs.

Disallow Removing Profile
add the ability to never allow the user to remove the profile from their device. if i want to force them to use a passcode, they can easily get around the requirement by just removing the profile.
0 votesThis is possible with devices under supervision and using Apple’s Device Enrollment Program (DEP).

Allow upload and assignment of custom .mobileconfig files
As an advanced feature, allow admins to upload unsigned .mobileconfig profiles created in iPhone Configuration Utility to DeviceLink and subsequently assign them to multiple individual devices OR multiple groups.
This will allow new and customized mobile configurations to be used in DeviceLink should it not fully support a desired configuration.

text fields
It would be nice to have some text fields to add information to a device. Mainly I would like to add a users name, and a general description field, but there may be other fields. Even better would be user definable fields.

Add support for wpa/wpa2 enterprise wireless networks
Please add support for the configuration of wpa/wpa2 enterprise wireless network settings. This feature would also require the ability to push certificates from enterprise CA's (a process similar to Apple's iPhone configuration utility).
30 votesSupport for Enterprise wireless networks (WEP, WPA, and WPA2) has been added. This includes support for certificate-based authentications.
This feature enhancement does not currently include the ability to automatically provision certificates from a third party or self-hosted CA. For this functionality or any other functionality not included in this current feature enhancement that you require, please create a new feature request.

Approved Web site limiting
In our corporate environment, we need to limit Safari to only load our internal company intranet sites. How can we use Device Link to limit web access to a few key company URLS?
thanks.
1 voteWe now support this feature for Supervised devices. The feature name in DeviceLink is called a “Web Content Filter”. You will want to create a whitelist of all of the specific internal URLs you plan to access and then assign this web content filter to a group of devices. Assignments are made in the Group Details screen underneath the “Supervised Features” tab.
Alternatively, you could also configure your devices to use a Global HTTP Proxy, assuming that you have a proxy at your site that you’d like to delegate this responsibility to. Global HTTP Proxies are configured similarly to Web Content Filters.

Ability to push iPad only apps as well
Currently one cannot push apps that were designed to be "iPad only" (according to the Knowledge Base). That seriously hinders managing multiple devices.
3 votesiPad only apps can be added within DeviceLink and deployed to iPad devices. If you deploy an iPad only app to a group of iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches, DeviceLink will intelligently only deploy the app to the iPad devices.
Unless I am misunderstanding your request, you should be able to do this now.
