Add full app path to collected apps & return with API
When reviewing / querying apps it would helpful to know the full path of all found apps. Would like this returned in the API as well.

Bring parity to timing options in Apple's Security & Preferences menu
In System preferences, in the Security and Preferences -> General tab, the "Require password <insert timeframe> after sleep or screen saver begins" dropdown has many more granular options than SimpleMDM allows. My company's security policy prefers 5 seconds after lock, but our only close options are immediate or 1 minute after sleep. It would be nice to have parity between the SimpleMDM configuration options and the options Apple allows.

Extend the included Device fields via the CVS download option
Appears to be missing a few key fields:
- passcode policy enabled (This is not the same as "firmware password" and btw, a similar field is downloaded but we think it's tied to iOS devices as opposed to Mac OS)
- Firewall enabled
- Mac OS Patch Management enabled
- Anti-virus / Malware enabledYou may recognize these as SOC2 requirements. Would be ideal to run a report / download for all devices with this data included. Thanks!

Update UI to Indicate Custom PKGs Can't Be Removed By MDM
Recently I pushed a custom PKG to a MacBook Air over MDM. While the SimpleMDM interface allows you to "uninstall" the package, nothing actually occurs since this capability is not possible. The lack of clarification from the UI is generally confusing, and it would be nice to update it and save others in the future from the same confusion.

Provide a UI to configure system level DNS over HTTPS (DoH) and DNS over TLS (DoT) for macOS and iOS
Many of us managing devices via MDM have to assume the devices are on networks that are insecure, malicious, or in the best case scenario, not malicious but definitely not private.
The standard way of doing DNS in those environments is unsafe, as the DHCP server can provide any resolver, and the traffic to those servers is made in the clear.
DNS over HTTPS (DoH) and DNS over TLS (DoT) are two options we have to make computing in such environments safer, by ensuring queries are encrypted as they leave the device.
Big Sur and iOS 14 both support this,…

Munki Firefox in multiple languages
At the moment Firefox is only available in English at Munki. It would be great if more languages were supported.

More options for LDAP Authentication
It would be great if there would be the option to use more LDAP attribute then only the UI or DN of a user. Especially the "sAMAccountName" would be helpful for classical AD oder SAMBA AD shops.

Don't truncate package name when space is available
Under App & Media → Assignment any packages assigned to a group get their name truncated to 24-ish characters. E.g. "se.chalmers.firstboot-1.4.pkg" gets truncated to "se.chalmers.firstboot-1...." This makes it really hard for us to pick the right package.

Allow device specific packages [on the device page]
Either mdm installed packages, or munki catalogs named by the serial number of the device.
I could currently create assignment groups for each serialnumber but that is tedius. Even if automated, It would still clutter up the assignment groups screen. I'd want to see the device specific catalogs/assignment groups on the device page.
The use case here is the nebula "vpn" client which needs a per host certificate. I was thinking of delivering these host specific certs by .pkg

Add a webhoook for the inactive device notifications
The suggestion "Automatic mail when a device has not been seen for a set amount of time" was just added. It would be fantastic to have a web hook available for this for customers who prefer those over email notifications.

Add PayloadCertificateAnchorUUID key in the WiFi payload.
Adding this key along with the RADIUS certificate allows the certificate to be trusted automatically with out dialog to the end user.

Allow custom munki pkgs to have dependancies
Specific use case is printer profiles that depend on drivers.
getting the profiles from mdm in this case may be problematic if the driver is not installed beforehand.

Add the Configuration profile - Network usage rules
I'd like to be able to natively use the Network usage rules configuration profile, rather than creating a custom configuration profile.
This will give me the ability to control what network type an app can use.

Support AWS EventBridge SaaS Integration
A.) Support AWS EventBridge SaaS Integration
Amazon EventBridge enables customers to build event-driven applications that subscribe to events from any participating software-as-a-service (SaaS) product without needing to write undifferentiated connection code.B.) Publish a SimpleMDM Specific Event Schema for SimpleMDM Events available via the integration
Rationale:
Unfiltered access to SimpleMDM client events without reliance on a webhook push with minimal information. Extensible to any and all events that happen within a SimpleMDM account/instance.1 vote -
Event when device event is logged (webhook)
I'd like to be able to receive a webhook whenever an event has been logged for a device, such as when the device is restarted or profiles has been installed or removed.

support encrypted payloads in profiles
Currently any profile uploaded to SimpleMDM as custom profile has to have a 'PayloadContent'-Key to be accepted.
All data in this Payload is plain text which isn't a good fit if you want for example to provide password protected certificates for S/MIME Email encryption within that payload. As leaving the password blank to get it as user input during installation only works for direct installation not for MDM provisioned profiles there is no secure way to get said certificates onto the users devices using SimpleMDM.Supporting the upload of encrypted profiles with a 'EncryptedPayloadContent'-Key would allow users to provide password…
