This currently can be accomplished with custom attributes. For instance, create a custom attribute named “simplemdm_group” and then assign a group-level value to the attribute for each group.

Is there a way to prevent other administrators to view my billings?
Is there a way to prevent other administrators to view my billings? Money is a sensitive issue here, as the other administrators are not paying the services, i am.

Put a message about not having SimpleMDM notifications if there are none
Minor thing, if you have no notifications in SimpleMDM I think it should look a bit different. Either shouldn't let me expand/not show up, or should show "You have no notifications" or something like that.
Cheers.

Option to disable drag-n-drop into Groups
It's easy to accidentally pull a device into another group. Offer the option to disable drag-n-drop.

Schedule device or group reboot using GUI or using custom API script
I would like to see the ability to schedule a single or a group of devices to reboot at a specified date and time.
1 voteRestart and Shutdown API commands can be used to create a custom script run on a schedule.

Along with listing the apps to add in a build, please show if it is an IOS or Mac OS app.
In the drop-down list of apps to add to a build it would be nice to see if it is an IOS or OS app rather than having to add it and see in the list if it is one or the other.

Asset Management
In Jamf there is a field you can enter on a device labeled "Asset Tag". It was a nice way to keep track of Asset Tag numbers without having to put it into the Device Name.
1 voteHave you considered using a custom attribute? You can add “asset_tag” by visiting Configs > Attributes. This will then add an asset_tag field to each device under device details.

More Usefull Features for MAC OS.
There needs to be a full set of features for MAC OS. 1) pushing updates 2) Allowing to track via the Map
And more!! Pushing apps like final cut is a plus. But we should be able to do more with the MAC OS.
1 voteMany features have been added for macOS since this post was submitted. If there are other features you would like to see added, please submit a new suggestion.

allow in-app purchases to be disable via Device Restrictions
Currently, in-app purchases can be disabled via the on-device Restrictions page. However, I do not see this as an option when configuring my Group Restrictions. Can this item be added to the available Restrictions?
Thanks!

Hide API key until a 'reveal' button is pressed on the Settings > API page
https://a.simplemdm.com/admin/api
As noted on the page itself, 'Note: Take care to protect your account key. It is just as powerful as your username and password.'
It would be nice if the key was hidden on view when you visit the page and instead there was a button near it that reveals the key temporarily. Would help prevent accidentally showing API key and looks better in demos.
Thanks in advance!

Provide a preview of custom config profiles
It would be very helpful to be able to see the XML of the custom profiles that have been uploaded in the event that the profile naming itself is bad.
That way I can know if the target profile is doing what I am expecting it to do or not.

Allow updating of a custom profile
Many times building a custom profile is iterative and sometimes needs to be changed.
It would be great to be able to upload a new .mobileconfig that overwrites the existing profile and deploys the new profile to all devices immediately without having to un-assign and re-assing to groups.

Device page "Show" settings preserved on my session
Upon choosing to show more devices on the devices page e.g. 20/40/1000, when I reload the page I want these settings to be preserved on my session, so I don't have to click 20 / 40 / 1000 - ALL

Printable Receipts
A printable version of the billing history would be perfect. For now one needs to make screenshots of the billing history for accounting purposes.

Save the last used sort order of the devices list.
When checking the devices I often sort by something, like date last seen, then click on a device to view. When I return to the devices list I want to just click the next device, but the sort order has been reset.
1 voteThis was implemented a while ago but we seem to have missed marking it has complete.

Maximum auto-lock time
Increase the options for "Maximum auto-lock time". Possibly might be good to have the same options as "Maximum grace period before lock". That way it can be synced to have a password required when the screen locks.

Add built-in support for Enforced Software Update Delay for macOS and iOS
Added in macOS 10.13.4 and iOS 11.3. Would be nice to have built in:
enforcedSoftwareUpdateDelay
Supervised only. This restriction allows the admin to set how many days a software update on the device will be delayed. With this restriction in place, the user will not see a software update until the specified number of days after the software update release date.
The max is 90 days and the default value is 30.
Availability: Available in iOS 11.3 and later and macOS 10.13.4 and later.
Mentioned https://developer.apple.com/library/content/featuredarticles/iPhoneConfigurationProfileRef/Introduction/Introduction.html and ofc here https://simplemdm.com/2018/01/25/apple-ios-11-3-macos-10-13-4-mdm-features/.
Thanks
