Auto Lock Device
The ability to set the Auto Screen Lock timer at a group level.
We already have the ability to display a message on the lock screen at a group level. Just need the ability to set the time for the Auto Lock.Thank you.

Assign settings (especially certificates) to individual users/devices
I would like to be able to push per-user TLS certificates to devices. This is useful for authenticating users' devices to internal web sites and VPNs (e.g. OpenVPN Connect app) as an additional layer of security before an attacker would even be presented with a login prompt, and it is a requirement of certain firewalls' OpenVPN configuration.

Add a "comment" field to the Kernel Extension policy page
It would be awesome to have a comment field so we could note which app or developer each team ID or bundle ID is for.

add the option to push Wifi Profiles as Device Profile
This would be great for non-user-enrolled MDM Deployments.
Generally speaking it would be great if all payloads that work as Device Profile would have a Checkbox to do so (and maybe even default to the device channel)

Allow wallpaper to be set per user/device as well as per group
Hi,
Could you possibly allow us to set the phone wallpaper per device, overriding the default wallpapers set in the group the device belongs to?
We are looking at customising the wallpapers with ID related information (per user), but currently we'd have to setup a device group for EVERY device one-by-one.

Add channel choice for VPN profiles
It would be excellent to have the ability to push VPN profiles as both user and device channel (similar to custom configuration profiles).
6 votesWe added the "For macOS devices, deploy as a device profile instead of a user profile." option to the VPN profile (and most other profiles) a while back, but it seems we missed marking this request as complete.

Location Address or Coordinates on Device Details Page
It would be great to have the location address or coordinates available to see on the device details page for easy access. As of now, it's only available via API.

Implement Login Window MDM payload settings for Apple devices
Please consider implementing the Login Window MDM payload settings for Apple devices so that we can assign loginwindow settings (e.g., name/password vs. icon, login banner, etc.) for the loginwindow of macOS devices.

Allow admins to set 'Remote Desktop Enabled' for all devices
A freshly built macOS 12.1 machine can only have Remote Desktop / screen sharing enabled using MDM. Currently, this can only be done on a per machine basis using 'Enable Remote Desktop' option or API call. It would be great if we could: -
Set 'Remote Desktop Enabled' at a global level for all macOS devices that are in SimpleMDM.
Have the ability to set it on multiple machines at once by ticking the box next to the device and setting from the 'Actions' menu.
6 votesRemote Desktop can now be enabled/disabled on multiple devices at once via the main Devices page, as well as enabled automatically when a device enrolls. To enable this for enrollments, see the option under Enrollments > Settings.

eSIM management aka RefreshCellularPlans command
Apple introduced iPhones completely without SIM tray in US recently (rest of the world will follow soon), command for managing eSIM is available for some time.
Implementing command RefreshCellularPlans will help us to streamline our SIM deployment to our users and get rid of plastic waste.
Please implement RefreshCellularPlans and make available via API.

Push Assigned Apps at First Enrollment
When a new device is assigned to a group that has Enterprise and/or AppStore apps assigned, the device should be pushed the request to install those apps upon first enrollment into MDM. This way the user has the apps they expect to have (or have been assigned to have) without the admin having to manually push the apps for the group.
Alternatively, have a page that appears after successful enrollment that indicates a successful enrollment with a button to "Push My Apps".

Remove the reveal password option under email account settings to increase security
There is an option to reveal the email account password. If someone hacks into the MDM they could potentially get access to all user passwords by simply clicking reveal.

Disable and limit cellular data usage
Ability to disable or limit cellular data usage. Would be nice if you can set a device max data usage limit and have it auto disable when the max has been reached. my teen needs constant monitoring on her data usage.

Large cellular data usage alerts.
It'd be nice to be able receive alerts when a user uses more than x amount of data:
a) x many days
b) between two dates per month
